In 1976 brothers Kouklinou - using their experience in pastry and pizza since 1962 – founded in Rethymno the company "Kouklinou Bros. Co.", which deals with the manufacture and sale of pizza and pastry. It is worth noting that there has been no similar business in Rethymno by then. The company actually created the market for pastry and pizza in the prefecture of Rethymno, Crete.

In 2003 the company starts the construction of new pastry laboratory in order to meet new market demands, having as a main purpose product quality and respect towards the consumers’ needs.

By the end of 2004 the construction of new laboratory is completed, with multiple capacity, modern equipment and certification ISO 9001 and HACCP.

In 2005 begins the operation of the new laboratory, capable of producing new products.
