History

From Vision to Market Leadership

Rologis Group was founded in 1954 in Limassol by George Rologis as a pioneering industrial bakery, introducing advanced German and Italian baking technologies to Cyprus. We also expanded into raw material imports, supplying Wineries, Breweries, Flour Mills, the Biscuit Industries, Bakeries, Toiletries, raw materials for Soaps and Cleansing Products.

Over the decades, evolved into a leading importer and distributor of food and consumer goods, serving both the Retail and HORECA sectors through a ROBUST LOGISTICS NETWORK.

Our warehouses include Ambient, Chilled, and Frozen zones for optimal storage.

Today, under the leadership of fourth generation of the Rologis family, we continue to grow— strengthening partnerships and driving innovation while honoring our heritage.

Key Milestones - Over 75 years

1954

Establishment of the company, Headquartered in Limassol, with the following activities:

  • Founding of the Industrial Bakery, introducing machinery from Italy and Germany.
  • Start of raw material imports for Cyprus industries including Bakeries, Wineries, Flour Mills, and Dairy
  • Investment activities in stocks and real estate.

1955 – 1960

  • Construction of a European-standard Industrial Bakery on privately owned land in Limassol.
  • Construction of a building on privately owned land in central Nicosia, at Solomou Square.
  • Construction of a commercial property on privately owned land in the center of Limassol, at Saripolou Street.
  • Operations of the bakery industry covering the whole of the Cyprus Market.

1960 – 1972

The above 4 projects have grown and have developed into four successful units:

  •  Expansion & Development of the Industrial Bakery all over Cyprus
  • Import of raw materials & fast moving products as SOLE AGENTS & DISTRIBUTORS for the market of Cyprus
  • Property development in Limassol
  • Property development in Nicosia

1973

  • Sale of the industrial bakery to the Pancyprian Company of Bakeries (PCB), a semi-governmental organisation specialising in mass bread production.
  • Conversion of the Limassol factory into office spaces and warehouses.
  • Continuation of the company’s activities for the development of the imports division.

1976

  • Expansion of the consumer goods import division forming cooperations as SOLE AGENTS AND DISTRIBUTORS for Leading European Manufacturers, primarily from Greece.

1997

  • Relocation of the company’s headquarters to Nicosia, while warehouses and distribution operations remain in Limassol.

2000

  • Expansion into refrigerated branded products.
  • Conversion of part of the warehouse into refrigerated cold stores

2010-2015

  • Strategic expansion into frozen products, including frozen meat, seafood and bake offs.

2020

  • Relocation of all operations to Nicosia, establishing a new distribution centre in the Strovolos industrial area, integrating headquarters and state-of-the-art warehouses with three distinct temperature zones.
